This work represents an investigation into the complex systems that underpin our modern world, and the resonances this complexity has with our own physicality: the notion of form following function can be applied both to biological and technological models equally. This confluence opens up an area of research and process that is rich in visual nuance and suggestion, and while the resulting imagery exhibits both ambiguity and contextually-invoked dislocation, an underlying sense of the familiar maintains the possibility of engagement and connection.
